Be glad to.
1. I have done work for NASA.
2. I'm not in Highschool. I run a business.
3. There are, in fact, three adopted children in our family.
4. I almost never get any of the money that I earn because it goes to provide for them.
Where did I lie?

Where I work a degree is everything, even if it is in a totally different field than what you do. If you really want to advance in the company, you better have a degree. If you want a salaried job, you better have a degree.
I think that university is what you make of it. I think that is true of many things in life. If you want to coast, in many schools you can coast. Or you can work your butt off and learn something. Learn dynamics of interactions with your peers, large groups of them in particular. In management, that has been key learning experience for me.
There is no doubt that you can succeed without a college degree - no doubt whatsoever, but you should find a way to fill the void of what you will miss out on. It is important, and know that at 15 you have goals but not necessarily experience. Don't shoot yourself in the foot by dismissing it.
I don't want a salaried job, and I'm not trying to "succeed" by the world's standards. There is more to this world then Corporate America.

By the way, I'm not doing this blindly. I wouldn't be pursuing these goals if I didn't know many, many, many people who are grown, have families, and did the same thing.

I agree with this 100%. I make 70k a year with no degree, but like one poster said above if i were to change companys i would be lucky to get an offer of half of what i make now.
And if i had a degree i would more then likely be making 100k doing the same work i do now.
Dont pass up on your education its more important then you think.

Once again, I'm not trying to work for another company. How many times do I have to say it?
It's sad how the world totally expects you to go work for someone else, and not be an entrepreneur.

Well statically speaking most entrepreneurs don't make it.
I see no reason why you wouldn't make it but at the same time a little security never hurt anyone.

Actually, no. Many good friends of mine have made it really big, and started really small. They've passed several of their good connections to me.

Oh no.... don't do that to me... I'm only a human... all the glory for how far I've gone goes to God.
technically since he gave humans free will, that last part isnt true :)
and CB, you've told me point blank that you werent around 14. i was quite surprised when ric maniac said you were 7 and doing finger painting that you didn't dispute it, so i thought he was onto something :)
