Clown Convulsions

Hey. I have recently observed one of the clowns in the tank at work picking at a bubble anemone. He then goes into what looks like convulsions. Has anyone heard of or seen this?

i have two clarkii clowns and the smaller of the two will occasionally start twitching rapidly. convulsion like movements. i assumed it was some type of matting behavior. but since i aded a carpet anenome the clown has been doing this around the anenome also. he has been doing this for going on 7 months and has been fine eats well no deseases and swims normally.

I was wondering about the mating thing but was curious because he/she is the only percula in there. Maybe he/she is just bowing down to the big grumpy cinamon in there. Somebody reported to the secretary yesterday that the "clown was having a siezure" so I figured I better ask. I wasnt too conserned because other than that it is perfectly healthy. Thanks for the info everybody!!

I have one maroon clown, and sometimes I'll see him swim down to the sandbed, and do a little "shimmy" thing, making a divot in the sand. Usually one of the other fish are near him (purple tang or flame angel). Other times I'll just see the divots in the sand in the morning. Must be a nesting or defensive move.
