clown eating anenome?

my clown is eating my anenome?!?!?!??!?!?
i got a pink tip haitian anenome and the clown is takin bites off the top of the tenticles.
y is he doin this??

well he gets it inside of his mouth but then i dont c anythin rip off but then the tenticle goes inside

I read last week that this is normal the clown will actully nip at the tips

He's doing it because he knows it can eat him. PT's and clowns are not a good mix. One of them should go.

Its common for hosting clowns to hold an anemone's tentical in their mouth...no one knows why. If there is no damage, then dont worry.

well it was my clown its really pissin me off
i bought a new hienuchi butterfly and the clown went straight for it
if u look at the classified im sellin the clown for only 35 its a good deal and its pretty big

I have a Pink tip haitian and a maroon clown. The PTA is large enough to eat the clown if he caught him but the maroon doesn't bother it and it don't bother nothin but takes up space. The maroon is hosting a GSP (green star polyp) and swims in it all day.

nah i dont think its that because the clown is bigger than the anenome
not only that but he startes fights wit other tank mates so its definilty the clown that has to go
