Hello,
My wife and I have a 65 gallon reef tank. It has been under our care since August, but my wife has had this tank for about 16 years (watched over by her mom until recently). The clownfish in the tank is as old as the tank. She recently laid eggs a few days ago and then the following day ate them. However, even with them gone she is still hanging around a lot in the corner where she laid them. She is a little bit obsessed and her appetite has been reduced since I spotted the eggs a few days ago. Is this normal behavior, or should we be concerned about her? The tank is in the best shape it has been in a very long time - I do 10 gallon water changes weekly. The invertebrates, dotty back and 3 cardinal fish are all doing well as is the coral, so I don't think it is a water quality issue. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!!!
