I just got my first two percula clowns. The LFS recommeded that I feed them Tetra Mircocrabs Cyclop-eez Granules. Any suggestions on how much and how often I should feed them?

i never use flake food....i feed my fish every three days of so...i feed six different types of frozen foods...scallops,shrimp,etc etc....you don't need to feed you fish as often as you think...they will scavenge for more food if you don't feed them constantly which in turn will make for a cleaner tank...

I have a clarkii and I have found that if you get several foods frozen/flake/dried ect and alternate it helps keep your trates a little lower and keeping flakes on the low end of the feeding scale helps combat algae as well (alot of flakes have high phosphates which feeds most algae).
I feed 2 meals a day but don't feed 2 full meals if you break it up... feed the same amount as you would in 1 sitting but just distribute it. That way you can minimize the amount of missed food.

Remember, when dealing with clowns to provide greens as well, they're herbivores by nature and require a mixed diet.
