Last tuesday I picked up a new clown fish and he has yet to eat. He was exibiting white spots, I did one dose of Greenex at the suggestion of my LFS, but then quit the treatment due to things I have read on the bored. Also, I began feeding the other fish (3 green chromis (1 of which had a spot on his tail fin)) garlic laced brine shrimp which they gobbled up and now have no signs of ick.
Good news is even though the clown fish has yet to eat, as far as I know, his signs of ich are dissapearing.
Water params are good, ph8.2, NO2, PHO4, NH4, all zero, NO3 at 20 or so...
Do you's think it is the high nirates? How worried should I be? I do have a order coming in of Kick Ick, which seems to be highly recomended if I must treat in the tank.
One other interesting thing to note is that when I feed, the clown will dart after the shrimp, but not acctually eat them.
thanks for any help.
regards
