My false percula clown has suddenly changed colors. The top half of it is starting to darken and the bottom half is staying normal.
Could anyone explain this?
My other clown is just fine. Neither one are acting strange.

has there been a change in aggression, or body size?
It could signal that they are sexing. Clownfish, like generally all other fish, start off as males. When you pair two or more they will begin to ---, usually starting off as a fight between two. The winner becomes the more dominate fish and starts to change into a female.

Great thanks for the help. Will the darker clown stay dark now or lighten up?
