clown fish scaring corals

hi
i've had pair of true percs for a week and a frogspawn and i think it is an Alveopora. the female clown goes in the Alveopora and when it does the coral disinflates and closes down the a couple hours later when the coral opens just a little the clown goes in it again. also the coral hasn't been opening in the past few days. with the frogspawn it just circles around it and barely skims it and it also closes down. is this normal? will the corals get used to it and then stay open?
thanks

My clownfish did this to my alveopora as well. It didn't close all the way but it progressively opened less and less. And then... I think the alveo got stung by an anemone that my son added to the tank and it died off entirely. I left the alveo skeleton in the tank at the bottom in low flow and unbelievably it has now regenerated about 50%. My old clown is now dead and the new clown has not discovered it yet. I am hoping that the alveo comes back to its original glory.
