Okay I am confused with a diagnosis. I have 4 false percs and one tomato clown in a 75 gallon. All the fish are 1 inch to and 1 1/2 in size. I noticed that one of the clowns had 2 small black dots that appeared on differents spots and different sides of the fish. I assumed it to be an out break of black ick. The next day each of the clowns had 1 or 2 black dots but no more. The spots are a little bigger than a pin head. I removed all the clowns to a hospital tank and treated with copper. They have been there for 5 days now with no change and no ill effects. I also have a flame angle and a yellow tang no signs of black dots and I think I can rule out black ick. I was going to fresh dip one of the clowns to see if that was change any thing but at this point have desided to hold off. I did remove one of the clowns and tried to examine the dark spot. It is under the skin and does not appear parasistic. Could it be from them acclimating to an aneneme. I have a sebu and carribean carpet in the tank?
