Clown Fish took a liking to my Flower Pot coral

Hello Everyone,
Currently I have a clown fish and a Bubble tip anemone who appear to have bonded. Recently I purchased this awesome flower pot coral (I think thats what its called) and the clown fish seems to be swiming in the flower pot more than the bubble tip. I'm sure it doesn't help that the bubble tip just recently decided to move right next to the flower pot.
The flower pot does not seem to mind that much since the tentacles or polyps or whatever they are do not retract when the clown swims among them, but I am not sure if this could be a harmful relationship. So two questions? Is this in fact harmful for either the clown of the flowerpot, and how can I get the clow fish interested in the bubble tip again? Thanks!!!!

you are lucky my maroons almost never leave short side of the tank where the overflow is and all day and all night they hang out right by the box and the clam there....only time they do come out is really at feeding time then they are like jumping out of the water...lol...and when i use the mag scrapper to clean the tank in wich they will attack it and bump it

OH, yes i remenber this , a year ago i whent trhough the same thing.(back when i had soties only.) i had a percula clown that took host in a green flowerpot. and at first a was worrried cause i thought it would stress it and kill it eventually. but that wasn't the case the clown & flowerpot were happy as can be. The flowerpot overgrew my tank. it got reallly big so i exchanged it for a moon coral. I still have the clown today The only difference is that i dont have any soft corals or anenomies now. but he doesnt mind.... so in my experience it would not harm flowerpot.

to answer your question mjweber...The relationship is fine for both the clownfish and the flowerpot. Clowns can host in any coral they want. Not sure how you could get the clown re-interested in the anemone though...might be hard

Had the same problem with my clown and flowerpot. The problem was that I had a black percula and a small true orange percula. The black was kinda teratorial and would thrash around in the flowerpot trying to keep the other one out. I eventually had to seperate the clowns and the flowerpot via a basket for about a week until they got reintrested in the anemone. Once they did that, i took the flowerpot back out... and they all get along fine now.
