clown gone

The very first fish that i started is gone:nope: I dont know what happen it was a v ery livly fish the night i checked it. This morning when i was feeding the fish i realised that my perc clown did not come to eat so i started to look around and it was gone.

It couldnt have jumped out because i have a lid for my aquarium.
could have my general red star atacked him?
It was in my tank for a 1 year and a month and one day it disapears what could have happen?
I looked in the filters everywhere possible there not a sign of it. My levels are good amonia 0 nitrite 0
the other tank mates are a blue tang and a kole tang both small

do you ever hear a clicking noise at night?

sometimes fish die for no reason. Do you have a clean up crew? If the fish did die then it is possible that he could have become food for your invertebrates.

for the past monts i heard clicking noises so i stay up to see what doing it and it was my hermit crab that was hitting his shell over the glass.

i hear some clicking in my tank at night and i only have a cleaner shrimp and a maroon clown

the clicking sound could be a matis shrimp. VERY nasty kills and eats anything

Could be a Mantis or a large Bristle worm.
