How long does it take a true perc to reach its full size. I have had the same one for almost 5 months i havent noticed a difference in size
Is this his final size or should i just keep hoping he will grow?

definitely years, we have had ours for nearly 3 and I do not think they are nearly full grown. and on another note, I have seen some that are in their late teens. and have heard that some others have kept them for 30

I have a thirty, i only feed flake food. I usually feed spirulina but i ran out.

The females reach about 90% of their full size in about 5 years. They reach full size at about 20 years. The males will never reach full size until the female dies.

Freshwater fish is OK for an occational treat but not often and not a lot. Consider it like you would consider feeding your kids Ice Cream.
