clown has a sore

I dont know if you can tell from this pic but my clown has a sore behind his fin(looks like a blister almost). He doesnt have any white spots like it would be from scratching from ich. Should I treat with Marycyn to in quarantine to see if the spot will clear up? What do you think it is? He also has some discoloration on his head although it doesnt look like the skin is peeling.

I can't really see any sore in that pic. What is the size? Is it an open sore, a bump, discoloration?
How is the fish doing aside from this?
How long have you had this fish and how are the other fish in the tank?
What are you feeding the fish and what are the water readings in your tank, including nitrates and pH??
