clown has sores

my tomato clown which ha only ben back in my tank since 10-30 from being i hypo has what looks like sore or wounds on its white stripe, thishas just came up since last night. i noticed little spots last night but today they are much bigger. other tank mates are
1firefish
2brittle stars
2pep shrimp
1horseshoe crab(which has beenin about a week)

If possible, I would put it in quarantine. And post this with your water params and a pic (if possible) in the disease forum.
Also, IMO, the horseshoe crab is not a good idea. It will probably starve to death once it cleans out your sand bed. If it lives, it will get WAY too big. They get about 10-12"

Did you treat the fish for secondary infection while doing the hypo? I assume the hypo was due to ich? You maybe should put it back into a QT and treat for a secondary infection...
Also, if it was ich...how did the main tank get treated?
If you take a log out of a fire...soak it in water, then stick it back into the fire..it will burn again...

yes he was pulled out for ich. the tank stayed fish free for over a month. glad to say today he is all better!! no marks at all. plus he has no signs of ich(thank god)

One day is too soon to tell. Remember for future reference...depending on the degree of infestation of Cryptocaryon irritans, secondary infection is very possible due to the removal of the cysts from the fish's flesh...when I haev a new specimen, suspect of ich...I treat with 500mg Amoxicillin per 10 gallons for 5-7 days.
