Clown hosting feather duster!!!

Today my clown decided to start hosting... In what you ask? My featherduster of all things! :rotfl: since he just started hosting it today, im staying away from the tank for a day or so cause I dont want to scare him away from it but I will absolutely be posting a pic on this thread as soon as he decides hes moving in permanently. Right now, it seems like hes "introduceing himself" to the feather duster so they get to know eachother, its pretty neat.
Its so wierd, the featherduster isnt even scared

He hosted for about 2 days and then the feather duster pulled in and scared him once and he gave up :( im so sad... I was totally proud of him hosting in a non-anemone lol.
Im pretty sure he will try again one day, he goes over there from time to time and brushes his tail against the feather duster & the duster doesnt mind. So maybe it will just take a while for them to bond. Who knows fish are wierd :rotfl:

I really wanted a pic too! the feather duster has only been there like a week and a half, so im sure they will warm upto eachother in time. Ive heard of clowns hosting fd and that its fairly rare, so just the fact that he has shown interest makes me happy
Our clowns name is party fish btw lol, the hubby named him cause hes the most active fish in the tank & he will swim between your fingers like a dog & weave poles :) hes a super cool fish & hes always down to party haha

god, i had a mated pair of maroons, and they hosted EVERYTHING in the tank. They hosted hair algae, xenia, florida pink condi anemone, and toadstool leather. They Killed the leather because 4" mama loved it too much.

lol great fish! i currently have a thread up now i posted pics of my fish cause i told them i have a Sebae Anemone Clownfish and someone posted there is no such thing. but thats the name that was posted at the fish store and when i googled the name it showed a pic of my fish so im waiting to see what they say

Ive never heard of one, but all the pix seemed to show prettymuch the same fish so youre prolly right, is it the blackish body with yellow belly & 2 stripes? Just because someones never heard of a fish doesnt mean it doesnt exist :)

As in the feather duster is the actual "host" I get that, but people almost always say my clown is hosting my anemone not my anemone is hosting my clown... Getting technical is silly sometimes... I think we all know the clown is not the actual host, its just what people say

Think of it like this only 6 people have posted to this thread, but 70 people have read part of it.
Now if you where to say something that sounded like it made sense but was wrong you might get a myth started like "don't use distilled water to top-off."

O jeez, ok ur right, im wrong. People dont say my clown is hosting because its just how it is commonly said and a myth will start cause of ppl saying it that way. Wutever dude lol
