youre lucky, i wish i was close to there. i saw that aquarium obsessed built most of their stuff. that lighting is expensive

FYI thats because its a flourcesed color not a true pigment of the anem. So, knowing that it is indeed a brown anemone. Having said that, IMO It is indeed a healthy specime I just hope they dont have them labled as purple bta's because that is very misleading.
I am seriously considering taking a weekend trip up there. Its a 3 hour drive for me one way but it looks like its worth the trip.

It would be interesting to see what they are labeling them . Unfortunetly mislabeling happens all the time and apparently even to the "best LFS in the country ".

I agree, as this would IMO discredit them in my book.

i think you guys are being too black and white about things. just like there isnt a yellow anemone, right guys? or even something that looks like a yellow bta?

There are some yellow anemones , the common misconception is yellow sebae anemones as they are not naturally the bright yellow you see in many LFS and have been dyed .
