Clown in all sorts

My ammonia has jumped up a level causing my clown to behave abnormally(cant swim properly). Is there anything i can do to save him, has this happended to anybody help needed??????? :help: :help:

had my 2 clowns for three weeks tank has been running for a few months now. Dont now what has caused it might be uneatin food cant really tell. Cown is having trouble swimming do they usually last??

Clown fish are normally very hardy, find the cause of the ammonia, what and how often you are feeding, do filters need any cleaning? check water quality nitrates, nitrites as well as the ammoinia, double check with LFS testing as well if possible.

i feed them pellets and mysis shrimp. once a day normally they are only juveniles. i checked the nitrite and nitrates and they were good. my filter is a hang on the side one (aquaclear). when u clean the filter do u use fresh water or tank water???

I usually rinse the filter when I do a water change and yes I do use the water from the tank.
