Okay well I finally got my tank raised oscerilliris(sp?) clowns to go into my BTA. My question is- why do they only go in it at night when the lights are off? i saw it for the first time last night, but today it doesnt go into the BTA? Why is this??

Maybe they feel like they only need the protection of the anemone at night?

It seems likely that they would like it at night for protection..isn't that amazing in TR fish? My tomato likes his (my) bta ALL THE TIME, but definitely stays put in it at night. He used to sleep on the sandbed (on his side) under a rock, guess I'd prefer it, also.

How long have you had the clown fish?
How long on the BTA?

The clown has been with me for 5+ years. I initially bought a BTA with him, but I wasn't smart enough yet. This BTA, I bought about one and a half years ago.

PonieGirl:
Are you having a similar experience?
How big is your tank, and how much live rock do you have?
