Clown killing Sebae Anemone?

they have both lived in the tank for about 3weeks, and of last night, the clown began to host the anemone, now, the anemone is withered and drouping and very small like it is days from dying like my last anemone, it still moves its tentacles once in awhile, but just looks horrible, the clown is still harrassing it and trying to hide in its tentacles, any ideas on what could be happening and how to fix it? could the clown have been to rough in trying to move in and stressed the anemone way to much? or is this normal when they first begin to host?

Not normal, could the anemone be eliminating? If not seperate it from the clown. You can use a strawberry/cherry tomatoe basket if it will fit over it. Then wait and see how it behaves.

since seperated, the anemone has inflated almost normal size but still has yet to completely extend its tentacles, even while shrivveled it still took food and ate, could have just been a coincidence with the time it wanted to shrivel up and the clown wanting to host, ill wait a few days before putting the clown back

LOL, should have figured, not that I can tell, but then again, ive never noticed any of my anemones "eliminating"

nope, wasnt doing that, id guess just stressed from the large maroon clown being too big for it
