Clown Only tank.

Hey,
A friedn of mine wants to set up his 500 gallon tank for a clown only tank. Any idea if that would even work i know people have specis tank but i mean only clowns and hosts and a clean up crew. This brings me to a 2nd question any one know were to buy a lot of clown fish at a time? Wholesale fish order i guess :thinking:

How many clowns could you put in a 500 gallon tank? For smaller tanks you are not supposed to have more than one pair.

Im not sure one what Number you could keep i was hopeing to getn awnser on here if some one knew. I think he wants around 20-25 Not sure if thats possible tho

30 clownfish probably. The only thing is, that would be one of the most boring tanks ever! Very Cool- In theory! I have seen 40 gallon tank, with probably around 100 clownfish, and it didnt look that cool.

Hey,
Im not sure if he wants to only put clowns but thats what i got from him. If i was to do it i think i would go for more of a schooling tank. Chromis and clowns maybe some other little things.

man with all due respect, if i had a 500g tank i would put some large angels in there, triggers, a large tang and a snowflake eel!
