Clown Question

I was in a LFS today and they had some clowns (False Perculas I believe). On the orange part of the fish was a lot of black spots. Is this normal? If so is it possible to avoid? I was to get a couple of those for my tank that is still cycling but don't want them to look like that.
THanks

Typically a "disease" that is most commonly associated with Tangs and Surgeonfishes, but one that can be contracted by other species as well, what is referred to as Black Spot Disease, Tang Disease or Black Ich is actually caused by an infestation of tiny Genus Paravortex member turbellarian flatworms.

I have been to the one in Rogers but that is not where I saw the clown. I saw that in OKC. The place had quite a bit of stock but there a lot of dead fish and I saw 3 or 4 of the clowns with the spots.
I am leaving here on Friday and plan on going to the stores in Tulsa you told me about. Thanks!
