Hey, I have just got a clown tang and ive read up on them for a while and think I know what to do, however I was wondering if any one has any tips for keeping this guy happy...his current tank mates include a black blenny, porc pine puffer, niger trigger, and a kole tang. If any one has any good tips or advice on this fish Id love to hear it any thing will help. Thanks :D

The Clown tang is a fish for the experienced hobbyist. This fish is an herbivore, and will eat brine shrimp,Marine -A, Sea weed, plankton, formulas one and two. The Clown tang needs oxygenated water, and plenty of space. It will grow large ,so it will need at least 6 feet of running space ( an aquarium at least 6 feet long ) , . The Clown Tang tends to get in strange moods whereas its head will become darkened and for some unknown reason will dart at amazing speed the entire length of your aquarium in a matter of moments ,then its head will return to its normal coloration, as if nothing ever happened at all. I've had my Clown tang for nearly 5 years. When I brought it ,it was 2.5",now its 8.5",and is a beautiful fish to watch

How big is the tank the Clown Tang is in? They need lots of room and demand pristine water; they are extremely tough fish to acclimate and keep.
