Clown Tang

Anyone know anything about clown tangs? There is one at an LFS here that I normally don't buy fish from (I get my snake's food there). It is really gorgeous but it has a few ich spots. In this store it is a death sentence as they don't medicate their tanks or have a QT tank. I actually rescued my other tang from the same store. Anyway, my tank specs are below. I have one tang, a juv Vlamingii and and thinking about getting a yellow tang in the future. I'd love to resuce the poor guy but don't want to regret it down the road if it thrashed my tank. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

It's suppose to be semi-aggressive and hard to take care of. They can nip at corals. It grows up to 15 in. Suppose to be reef compatible.

Tried once a while ago and lasted 2 weeks. Haven't heard much success with them. Also wouldn't buy a fish w/ Ich unless they were practically giving it away and then I would use A Q tank. Good luck w/ whatever you decide.

I've got a QT tank that I always use when adding new fish. And I'm definitely going to haggle with them. Sounds bad thought that they don't last long...:(

Tangs are very pretty but territorial. They tend to outgrow med-large tanks. I would not put one in a tank less than 125g.
I had mine in my 90, and i had problems
