I have one, he's not yet a menace but he's only about 4" right now and is one of the smaller fish in my tank. I personally love triggers but by owning them you have to know that they do have the habit of going ballistic sometimes.
Now there is always the chance that you'll end up with one that is not that belligerent but it is not something to count on.
I will also say that if something happened to mine, I would get another as soon as I could. I think they are awesome fish.

I have seen them well over 12" in the pet stores around here so imo I would say he would be ok for a while but not long term. They are very very territorial

Great deal and I say go for it. But longterm probablyly not b/c it will outgrow your 125. Good luck.

Hasn't killed anything yet is what Jeffrey Dahmers' mom used to say when he was little too.
A friend of mine had to have steel rods put in his arm from where his "nipped" him. The guy lived so I guess you could say his hasn't killed anything yet either.
