You can never guarantee that a clown will accept an anemone as a host. Some do, some don't..... others will accept certain corals as hosts instead. Keep in mind, clowns don't need a host to be happy and thrive.
typical! give a fish a new home and it ignores it. thanks. at what age may they start spawning dont know how old they are but they are about an inch and a half long.they were tank bred
Can you be more specific on the type of anemone you have? If it is a condi then I'm not suprised at all. This would mean that you have chosen an atlantic anemoene for a pacific clown, the clownfish has no idea what type of anemoen you've stuck in there.
