Clownfish at night

Most fish seem to find a "bed" so to speak. But not my pair of clowns. Sometimes at night I peek into their tank. They are always at the top of the water, sometimes sideways, sometimes straight...but, when they "wake up" they are normal. They are healthy and the water is normal (everything 0 with 8.2 pH 1.023 s.g. and 79 degrees). They eat and swim during the day, but at night they have these strange sleeping habits. Anyone else have experiences with strange fish habits?

My clowns do the same thing at night! The first day I had them I thought they died in the morning, but they seem to do the same thing every night. I thought it was because I do not have any anemones for them.

I know ocellaris clowns can always appear to fumble around randomly in the water currents. Sounds normal. They should act in a way humans interpret to be happy-go-lucky-spunky.
