I was wondering if anyone knew why our clown fish won't go in the anemone we have, it is suppose to be their favorite?
we have 2 percula clownfish and 2 long tentacle anemone, one is yellow looking with blue tips and the other is brown. we also have 390 watts of light.

How long have the anenomes and clownfish been in the tank? There is no guarantee they will host an anenome, sometimes they host other corals too.

it takes time.
mine took almost 3 months before it found my old bta.
it may never host in the anemone.. nature just works that way.

I have two clowns and two anemones and my clowns do not host it either of them. At 1st they would have nothing to do with that area of the tank but now they just swim around like they do not exist. I was told at the LFS that its hit or miss if they will host nothing is a sure thing in that.
