Clownfish eating larvae?

Day 8 last night and around 40-50 eggs hatched. I left the eggs to hatch in the parents' tank as I am only a beginner and transferring the eggs from the aquarium wall to a separate tank seemed daunting. Parents tank has only the 2 clowns and the eggs. When I woke up, there were only 2 larvae swimming. No sign of the others. Is it possible the parents ate the larvae??

How do you get the eggs off the aquarium wall (I will give them a removable option next time but just in case) without damaging them to move into a separate tank?

The eggs are stuck to the glass, it is just the way a CF will spawn. They do make larvae catchers or you can wait with a small light on hatch night. Try putting a piece of slate where they are spawning.
