clownfish help

I have a 120g tank. I bought tank raised Ocellaris clowns x2 on Thursday and 6 blue green chromis on saturday. They are eating great and are very healthy. My problem: my clowns were a tight pair before the chromis addition and now they seem to avoid each other...one is at front of tank, one is at back. One is on side, one is on other side. What's wrong? Will they still mate? Please help.

Were both Clownfish introduced to the same area of the tank? If so I believe they will get back together.

Yes. They hang out together some times, but most of the time, they are separated. Would the addition of a anemone in the future help them connect? Also, will time help them? I acclimated them in the same bucket fyi. Please respond. Thanks.

An Anemone will not assist them in rebonding. What I meant is, did you place them into the same side of the tank when then were introduced to your display tank? Clownfish often "claim" the first habitable area they see when added to a new environment. If they were not added together in the same spot then it may take some time for them to find each other again.

I truly don't remember I am sorry. It was last Thursday and i think they went together...they were inseperable at first until the chromis...they seem to bond more when I turn off the T5s and turn on actinics/moonlights. Any reason?
