Could it be possiable that aquacultured clownfish are less likely to host in a anenomie or coral than wild caught ones. Or is it likely that it will take them longer to take host? Just wondering because it seems like that was the situation atleast in my case.

Yes, you would have a tougher time making your aquacultured clownfish to host your anemones or corals because they don't grow up around any of them before. The clowns themselves do not know that they are supposed to host.

Do you know if you clowns are aquacultured or is this a way you are trying to find out if they are? Some wild caughts will go into an anemone either.

Will young clown be more likely to host then older ones? I have a clown that is 1 year old and has been swimming next to the glass all this time.

I'm saying that I had an aquacultured clown that wouldn't take host....I traded it in for a live caught and it took a host within an hour.
