it really depends, what are you feeding? Mine love frozen brine, but dont take much to flake food. Try and keep a close eye on him, sooner or later he'll have to eat or die.

Kent Marine's Garlic Xtrime is a natural food atractant. When i add food soaked with garlic my fish goes crazy for it. Try, this may help.
Other thing. Look at the fish. Does it seems to be healthy? How is his breath?( fast or normal).

You can use galic from the store, but I suggest buying the stuff mentioned above at you lfs. Then just add a drop or 2 to the food you are about to feed and put it in. I would use frozen brine. So just add 2 drops of the garlic and put it in. They really like. Mine also really like the frozen brine. Have you tried that yet?

i take normal bags, take the garlic, peel it, and then chopp them up, and then cut a little hole at the bottom tip of the bag, then sqeeze it as hard as i can. i actually use 2 backs, second one is on the outside. This might not be the right way. But it works for me and fish love it. My purple tang has it and im trying to help him and see what happens.SEems like its helping a little bit

Just want to let you all know he finally started eating today...Tried the brine shrimp last night, but he still didn't touch it. This morning, I went back to the flakes I was feeding and he finally ate.
Thanks to all who responded.
