Last month I lost my male onyx clown and was left with my female onyx...3 days ago I bought a smaller black ice clown to replace my male and they are fighting for dominance right now. the reason I'm posting this is because I was wondering if an onyx and a black ice have ever laid eggs and what the fry is called if they have? thanks!

I dont see why they wont/cant lay eggs. They are prob fighting becaue the female has not accepted the male. If she does not accept the male, one will end up dead. I have had this happen before.

If I recall correctly those are two different species of fish. My understanding may be outdated but I do know that A. percula and A. ocellaris have been known to breed on rare occation. It's not something I would recommend.
