Clownfish went in overflow - beat up bad HELP

Ok I found the clown this morning in my filter sock wedged between the sock and the pipe.
I thought he was dead.
I quickly removed the back and got him out. No movement at all. I put him in my sump and he started swimming and went to the bottom and layed there.

He then started swimming around and I put him in the MT again. He has not went to his anemone at all. He is pretty beat up. His left eye is swollen and cloudy and he has some scrapes on his head. He doesn't look to have any actual cut.
I have attached a picture. This is the best I have gotten thus far as my camera battery died. It is charging.
So should I QT him and give him meds or something or just let him be?

Awww! Poor baby!
Don't worry, I KNOW there will be lots of people here to help you, I'm still pretty new. All I can really tell you is to make sure he's eating and perhaps use some Kent's Garlic Extreme or... any garlic fish-food additive into his food. I really hope that someone that knows what to do will respond soon.
Be sure to keep us posted!

Thank you both for your kind words. I appreciate it.
Does no one have any help? I mean can he get ich from this or some disease because he is stressed? IDK that is why I am asking. Should I QT him or should I just let him be and see how he is tomorrow???
also ammonia, trites, and trates are all 0

Well he could get ick re: the stress he went through and being beat up.. I guess unless he has actual open sores or signs of Ick, I wouldn't quarrentine at present.. It may stress him out more at this point to quarrentine him... Although I'm no expert.. Maybe one of the sharks or more experienced aquarist will jump on board and give you some better advise... Maybe you can start a new thread titled "Should I quarrentine my clown" ??? maybe that will get you more helpful advice too...
How is he doing ? good luck

Well thanks Misty for the advice. I was kinda thinking it may make it worse but then again IDK.
I am just as stressed as my poor nemo (and yes that is his name thank to my 4 yr old)

Here are some more pictures of him. He is looking worse but I guess that is to be expected after you get beat all up. I was looking at the pictures of diseased fish and his skin is looking like the brooknella (ms I think). Not sure. I am trying to get good pictures for you all to see.
I also saw that he can get pop eye from and eye injury so now I am worried about that too. :help:
Anyone have any advice or words of wisdom?

You want to keep this fish's stress level to a minimum. I would leave him in the display tank unless he does break out with a disease. His immunes system is lower than normal right now, but he should not come down with any diseases.
I would begin to dose the tank and the fish's food with vitamin C to help him heal faster. Kent makes a product called MarineC that would work well because it is almost pure vitamin C, or you could use VitaChem or Selcon, as both of those products contain vitamin C as well.
Is the fish still eating at all?

Well I looked at this to late. I just came in to check on him and he is looking HORRIBLE. His fins are all tattered now and they weren't before and his skin on his eye is coming off. So I did put him in QT w/ some Maracyn-Two. I thought it might help him some.
No he is not eating at all. I just tried again. He is not interested at all in food. Even w/ garlic. He is now only swimming vertical.
I do have some VitaChem so I will add a few drops to the water.
Any other suggestions? Thanks for responding Lion Crazz

At this point, there is not much more you can do. It sounds like he is just barely hanging on. The Maracyn-Two should help his fins a bit, but he sounds like he was roughed up really badly in the overflow. It sounds like his system went into a state of shock and has not since come out of it.

JMO. ID LEAVE HIM ALONE.. let him heal himself..stress from the disaster and stress from taking him out of your tank will def kill him ..dont waist your money on meds.. if he is a healthy fish with a strong immune system he will fight it by himself
HEALTHY FISH-.TRANSPORT FROM POINT A TO POINT B = STRESS!!!!
SICK OR HURT FISH- TRANSPORT FROM POINT A TO POINT B THEN BACK TO A= EXTRA STRESS..POSSIBLE DEATH
LET NATURE DO ITS THING

IM SURE SOMEONE ELSE WILL SAY SOMETHING DIFFERENT

IF MY FISH ARE SICK(DESEASE)/(STRESS).I LEAVE THEM ALONE MY FISH ALWAYS GET BETTER BY THEMSELFS..MYBE IM LUCKY.. KNOCK ON GLASS

Thanks for everyones input but he did die. He died yesterday morning.

My little boy just cried his little eyes out. Now we need another nemo (yes that was his name, aren't they all at this point.)

I am really sorry to hear about the loss. Don't beat yourself up though, it sounded like something you could not have prevented.
