I am sorry to hear that he died. Brook does kill pretty quickly. It also can stay in your system for a month, so I would not get another clown just yet. Some good meds to keep on hand in the event of an emergency is Formalin, Cupramine and a copper test kit. Formalin is the one I would keep on hand at all times. If you ever get another clown and spot brook it is important to do the baths ASAP.

One more question: The medication in my QT stained the silicone. Can I still use the tank?

You are very welcome.
What did you use? I am guessing something with malechite green in it? You can still use the qt, but not for any kind of invert.
