Clowns DO jump

I'm seriously not meant to have Picasso Clown(s). I received a new pair yesterday and put them in the 75g reef. Everything was fine until I went to pick my girls from day care and get home to a carpet surffer. I was gone maybe an hour and during that time one of the new clowns had wanted to feel the Berber carpet. UNBELIEVABLE!
I moved the remaining clown to the nano upstairs to be a mate for the previously widowed clown.
Am I jinxed or something? Don't even tell me how much money I just lost on 2 pairs of Picasso's

That's brutal. Sorry for the loss. Most of us have
had these suicidal fish whether it's a trigger or a
bottom dwelling flounder. Is it curiosity or did it get
spooked ? Nobody really knows. Good luck wtih
the other pairing.

Thanks guys
I'm pretty sure it was either a sixliner or the flame angel that spooked him/her. At least now in the nano
1) can't jump, there is a lid
2) very peaceful tank mates: Yashia Goby, Citrinis Clown Goby, the other Picasso and a Tailspot Blenny
Just sucks @#%@P$##@(%

I saw my clarki chase my yellow tail damsel and it missed and straight out of the tank and flop on the floor

Yep, all our tanks have grounding probes.. was one of the first things that went into the systems. We're kind of particular about our equipment :)
