Black & White False Percula - Aquacultured on sale from this site show a clown with an all black face on the pic. Will these clowns become all black as adults? I keep looking different places on the web and I see some with an orange face. I realize these say False but the one in the pic is all black can someone explain the difference I am new to clowns. Thanks!

Yes, they will become all black as they age. They start out as mostly orange as juveniles.

I just recently purchased the black and white clown from this site. My b & w has just a little bit of orange on his face. I believe this is the juvi stage and they become all black and white when they reach their adult stage.

Thank you all,
From what I read a male can change ---... So buying a pair would give me good odds that I end up with a mating pair? I realize I could get 2 females... Does this sound about right or am I off?
And will they be pretty safe with that tube anenome you see in my pic? I am hoping they make a home in that bubble tip....

if you buy them both small they will both be juvis, later on when they mature though they are going to fight for dominace to see who will be female and who will be male, clows most people belive once they are female they cant go back, that is fulse they can go back but once they are females and put in with another female one is going to die, if you have a QT the way to make a femal go back to male is put the female in with the other female and when one gets beat up bad take him out and put him in the QT, let him heal up and replace, this time the female will chase him around as long as he dosent fight the one you had taken out will become male very soon

I don't think this is correct. Do you have a source of info for this? every book I've read says the change is permanent. That, and the fact that the female grows so much larger makes me also believe it is a done deal.

I too am curious, Fenner was asked this question and his response was a resounding NO. They cannot turn back to female..
