Can you keep Black and White Perculas with False Perculas? Also, what kind of anemone is best for them?
Thanks!

Please don't attempt putting 2 different clowns together.
59.DO NOT ATTEMPT TO MIX TWO DIFFERENT SPECIES OF CLOWNFISH. Another one of those things (of the many on this list) that have been done, but it is not recommended because the success rate is so marginal. Clownfish do best when they are kept in a pair or large group within the same family. When you begin to mix different types, fighting usually ensues.

black an white are false percs there the same. so yes you can pair a black an white with a orange an white.the b&w are just (Amphiprion ocellaris)a color variant of the o&w.

Welcome to the boards.
Clowns don't need anemones to thrive in a tank. In fact, anemones are very difficult to keep and require quite a bit. Pristine, stable water conditions, very strong lighting, lot's of room, etc.
That said, if your tank meets those requirements, try a Bubble Tip. They can be cative bred and do better in captivity then some of the other anemones.

you'll be fine as long as you have ample space for them all to establish their own "spots". I have two misbars that I'v had nearly 3 and a half years that settled in the right side of my tank in a large conch shell I put there. About a year ago I decided to introduce two B&W percs. I simply re-arranged some of the rock work and added another large conch shell on the other side of the tank. As luck would have it...the B&W's live in that conch. They've never even chased after each other. This is also in a 125 long though...so there is a big gap between the two pairs. I don't like anemone's because they move around too much and I'm scared for my corals. Even if they settle in a spot there is no guarantee they'll stay there and could end up moving somewhere else 6 months later. But that's me. Instead I give my clowns fancy conch shell homes... <_<

Thanks to all who replied. It is so nice to be able to find help from people with much more experience than I have.
