My clown trigger was doing fine all week, this morning he looked sluggish and didnt eat, when i came home from work he was lying on his side barely moving and not eating. i took a closer look and it looks like it may have ick. all the water parameters check out ok, but his condition seems to be declining rapidly. any suggestions? I dosed the tank with quick ich and am open to any idea?!?!??!

I know it is a little late.......but the only suggestion is Freshwater dip for 5 minutes for a quick cure/death.
Or if it was caught earlier you could have increased temp. in tank up to approx 85-90 and if it is true ick, that would have help alot.

ok now he is moving around a bit again but he has a very glazed over look in its eyes and is bumping into things... seems to be blind? i dunno i will keep you updated

perform a large water change. throw one feeder in the tank and see if he will eat it. if it doesnt there is really a problem. keep a close eye on him..quarentine if possible

I have a blind clown trigger too as of right now. He somehow lost his vision in my uncles 150 and now he's sitting in a 40. He constantly bumps into objects like the heater and coral, and he never eats. His color is starting to fade and I guess it doesn't look good.

try some fungus medication or take him in too a pet store to see what it is but please don,t try a freshwater dip ,it will make him go into shock and die ,good luck with him and hope he doesn,t go blind i hav a porky puffer that is blind and he is still alive but struggles alot it breaks my heart to see a fish that use to eat everything in sight loose his sight ans struggle to eat ,but again hope that your fish doesn,t go through this but if possible take him to a pet shop so they could help you ,good luck :( :)

IMHO I would put your Clown in a QT and start hypo. I don't know what else you have in your tank but ICH ripped through mine like it was nothing. I did mange to keep my puffer alive. A FW dip is just a quick fix ( for the time being ) but it isn't a true fix. You can ask Beth in the Disease board, she may have the same idea or even a better one.
