cobwebs in my tank -- what is this?

For the last three mornings, my tank has what I can only describe as "co

ebs" in it. Very thin, long strands of -- I don't know what. They seem to be attached to my plants and rocks. By evening I can see no evidence of them. My fish all seem fine. All my parameters are fine, filter OK, etc. Any ideas what this stuff is?

No, just fish

2 green chromis
1 yellow tail blue
snails
Somewhere in there are 2 peppermint shrimp.

there are tube living snails that come in on live rock that shoot out webs to catch detrius and stuff to eat...then later in the evening they reel these webs in and eat whatever is caught in them...this might be the case..who knows..just a guess...

I agree with Minireef they are Vermetid snails.
