Cobwebs

My 30gal tank has been up and running for about 4 days now. Everything seems to be going as planned, the Amonia is droping and Nitrites are climbing. PH is 8.0 and Alk is normal, Sal is 1.023.
My questions it, what is up with having co
ebs on my LR. I even have a co
eb that is between the LR and LS. I have 45lbs of MI LR and 50lbs of fiji LS. the tank is pretty clear, and I have some nice plants growing on the rock, and I even seen a little crab from the LS today. Also seen something that looks like a centipede the other day. Brown with alot of legs, but really small..
Any Ideas? I know I live in the desert, but I doubt I have black widows in my tank..hehe..

The "centipede" thing was a bristleworm. They are perfectly safe that size. Sometimes they get really big and get pretty nasty. As far as the co
ebs go, I'm not sure what causes that, but I had it grow in my tank during my lr cycle too. After I dropped in my cleanup crew, it went away. Good luck!

Thanks Volitan..
this is fun looking and seeing something differnt everytime. I know I have to be patient, but it will be even more fun when I finally get my crew going..:).
Question on the caulerpa. should I just let it keep growing? or should I cultivate it after awhile. I am sure it will be a forest if I let it go forever..Right now it looks like little palm tree leaves..
