Coffe filter ok to use when cleaning tank? I was thinking use the filter in HOB to catch fine stuff like algae when cleaning. Will it be ok for water?

It will clog very quick and could cause overflow. Just never leave it unattended. Otherwise it should work great.

It did a good job. This filter wont overflow if the filters clog water flows over middle. Should get a pic of it. I have the skimmer on shelf and it goes to HOB filter that has chemi-pure and biofiber. I took out the impeller etc.
