coil denitrator

Has anyone ever used a coil denitrator? I have one on both my 135 and my 55 and they have been nothing but a hassle. I have had them up and running for a few months and have not seen any change in my nitrates, which are not high now or before the coil denitrators. I was just wondering if they are worth the effort or if I should just stick with water changes, refugium and lr. Would love to hear everyones input and experiences.

Guess no one has used these or has any experience with them so I will try to keep posting my results.

I built one and its been working for over a year. I have a 45 gallon that stayed at 40 ppm nitrate before the denitrator. I've been able to keep the tank at less than 5 ppm since with a minor water change of 10 gallons once every two weeks.
