University of Florida and Florida State are two very good schools. I can't remember which is which, but the one in Gainesville is sweet . . .

Gainsville is the UF (University of Florida) Gators! That's where I graduated from with a degree in Computer Engineering. Great School. I hate FSU but I have to because I'm a Gator. It's mandatory.
They are all great schools really, but UF and FSU are the two main state universities in Florida as far as recognition. University of Miami is a private school and costs much more.

If paying tuition is an issue it's cheaper to go to a private college, public schools will charge you non-resident tutiton which is like double what redsidents pay and private colleges charge everyone at the same rate. I live 5 mins from the FL border near Jacksonville, and I plan to go to Jacksonville University in the fall for Marine Science, that's a good school with alot of programs and on campus housing, but there are other private schools in FL too, just do an online search. :joy:
P.S.
I hope you spell your major correctly when you apply, lol, j/k.

I'm not sure as I've always been a residence, but I think you can apply for residency after 6 months so it's only expensive for a semester. Don't quote me on that though as I may have heard it wrong.
The University of Miami in Coral Gables is a very nice school. I have been there numerous times for training. Miami girls are gorgeous. Especially on South Beach.

You may be exactly right on the time and you do make a very good point about non-resident tuition. It is much higher.

I already looked at tutition and from what I see out of state public is cheaper than in state private and Virginia colleges are great but University of Richmond's is around $34,000 FSU out of state is only $14,000 (aprox)
