of course, i love my RA! she's great, like our own personal, free, therapist. lol. too bad we can't have incense though....lol
we have now gone back up the hill of the roller coaster, she's speaking to me again..... but i'm through listening to her constant complaints about one thing or another, tired of her getting mad at me one day and fine the next, tired of trying to be friends w/ her. i just want to live in peace and harmony.... i don't care if we talk a lot anymore or not.
and if i were to request a roommate change, they'd make me move! i'm moving my tank enough this year, i don't want to put the poor little fishie through that much! lol.

and in 2 hours, we're having a girls' night.... about a dozen girls out in our lounge for snacks, drinks, games, and music! woo hoo!! :jumping:

Lemme ask you this, why do you CARE if she's mad at you? It sounds like she's got enough issues to fill a library with volumes! So if SHE'S nutty, why is that YOUR problem? When she starts the silent treatment just shrug internally and say "looks like she has a personal problem again. Oh well. Glad it's her and not me with the problem." and go on your merry way!
Communication is key in any relationship, even that of roomates, and if she won't communicate what can you do? It's her choice whether to communicate like adults or not but you don't have to let HER choices run YOU through the wringer.
Dead on serious, life gets loads easier when you learn this trick!!!

I guess it's a pretty common thing in dorm rooms. I was somewhat traumatized by it though...that and my other roommate's father calling from Pakistan at 2:00 in the morning to make sure his daughter was doing respectable things and scream at her about her grades.

You could always ask her to have one of those girl on girl college sessions that happen frequently in college dorms....That should relax her alot, not to mention...If she gets out of hand again, just threaten to put it on the internet because you taped it......

My first roommate in college was a big, buff black guy...which was funny because at the time I was a skinny little white boy lol. He was all gangsta gangsta, but we got along because we both liked Jackie Chan movies and we both liked to smoke pot lol.
