color for background of tank

I am painting the back of my tank. What color looks good? I am considering either a dark blue or black.
I want it to look as natural as possible, that's why I am leaning towards blue.

If you can't decide between the two, you can always fade from black at the bottom to light blue at the top. Paint the bottom solid, but thin it out as you go up, meaning not full coverage. After it dries, come back with a dark blue and start near the bottom where you started thinning the black, and go up, repeating the thinning process. Then finish of with full coverage of light blue. This would give a nice fading color, which I think looks really nice behind the tank, much the way normal water color in the ocean occurs. Just a thought.

Hey glinton what I did on my 90 was this. I took some dark purple and used a small brush to dab small specks of purple kinda the same color as coraline. Then went over it with black. I like it. So does everyone else that has seen it. If you look in the background of the pic you can see it.

I went ahead and painted it the deep blue. I think I really like it. It looks good with the light shining down on it. But it is hard to tell without any rocks, sand, fish, etc.
Now all I need to do is paint the stand and get enough money for the LR and enough patience to get me there!
