I have a 12 gallon nano and everything is going good. However when I buy my coral at the store they look brighter and the colors seem to "pop" really nicely but when they get into my tank the colors "fade" just slightly
. Its not the water quality. Could my lights be going bad
on my 12 gallon aquapod or do I need to does with something other than Cal and Alk?
please help

If im right Aquapod has the best light wattage out of all the cubes... Also their Pcs..
What kind of lights do they keep their coral under at the LFS?
Could be parameters, placement in the tank, lights, flow...

My preference would be a 16.5 inch sunpod with a phoenix 20k bulb, but that size sunpod has been discontinued
The good news is the jbj viper clip-on should work great, it is a 70 watt metal halide. You will have a nice shimmer effect and corals colors will really come out nicely.

I had a biocube, the corals looked nice, then when I put them in my 28 gallon HQI(which has a 150 watt MH) all the corals colored up so much, I was super surprised!!
