I was just wondering what the color of zooxanthenlae (sp?) is.. my rose tip anemone is getting a bright green color to his body and tentacles.. I have been feeding him krill. When I bought him he was bleached. So does that zooxanthenlae stuff have to be dark brown?
The zooxanthelae is brown, and a healthy anemone would have a nice brown tint under its colored pigment. My RBTA sometimes has a greenish oral disk and some green at the base of the tentacles too. From what I have seen, a lot of RBTAs have that.
