Are your clowns mating? I'm not sure what you mean.

I have not bred clowns but I did read a thread on another forum and someone had a tomatoe and ocellaris produce offspring with three and two striped individuals and some were misbarred. This hybridization of the species is frowned upon in many circles. Why would you want to? Get a pair and try to raise a specific species why be a renegade?
You might be interested in snowflake clowns, google it.

I read the question he asked, and I have heard of offspring that is not 3 stripes. He didn't mention a specific species such as tomatoes which have only 1 stripe normally. What does hem mean by normal? He mentioned white all over the body, made me think of snowflake clowns. Are you in a bad mood or something? With this question it is not easy to understand what he is asking as kikithemermaid stated. : )
Is this what you mean by white all over body in different patterns? Pretty cool.

not mine, my Aunts clowns had babies in her 30gal nano. all she had where a mated pair of normal percula clowns. so they had babies they look like picaso percula clownfish. they all came out in deformed white markings. but so far there are only 16 or 17 alive. she dosent like them.

haha, if you aunt has some picassos she doesnt want, tell her ill take them off her hands for her! lol. anyways, im not 100% sure how that works, it is some sort of deformity, i think its more common when you breed clowns that are siblings. so if she bought the parents at the same time thats possible.
on the other hand, im not sure if baby clowns have full markings as soon as theyre born, they may develop them as time goes on, so they may be normal.
& im in a great mood.

ORA sells a whole lot of "weird" clowns like stubby, misbarred, picasso, no stripe, etc. Really all they are is a genetic goof, but some pretty cool goofs.

Misbars are a result of poor nutrition/water quality during the rearing of the fry. I believe snowflakes are a hybrid.

but anyway they look really cool like picaso clowns. i dont think its from her water quality because she lives a block away from her LFS, she takes care of the tank real good parameters are perfect.
