my blue damsel lives with my ocellaris clown in a 30 gal fish only. the blue went from bright blue to a darker blue the last couple of days. no change in behavior, tho. any ideas why?

you think? he loves the clown and and can't stay away until the clown chases him off. my experience has always been a loss of color due to stress.

does the damsel have adult coloration already? it may have been one that looks nice as a juvi then "browns" out.

Likely maturation. Keep an eye on him, he might get aggressive soon aswell. Sometimes these two go hand-in-hand.
