colt coral/finger coral/bubble coral/toadstool growth rate pics

hey everyone....

i was just curious to how fast these corals should grow...??
my colt coral has pretty much grown 4-5X's its original size since i bought him like 4 months ago... my toadstool has doubled in like 2 months.... my leather finger has doubled in like 6 weeks.... my bubble coral is about 2-3X's bigger in about 2-3 months...
i have some before and after pics .... i was just lookin through old pics and saw a huge difference in my colt and was wondering about the others so i was lookin.... i can see a pretty big difference between them all.... i think im going to have to propegate the colt hes getting way to big and bumping into other corals .... bad for him cuz they seem to always win especially my gsp colony thats growing about 1/8"+ a day....
tell me what u think the 1st whole tank shot is from about 10-12 weeks ago the 2nd is from 2day.... 3rd is an old close up of the bubble about 10 weeks ago i since have moved him closer to the light source and he looks a lot bigger...
is it normal for these softer corals to grow that fast??

but is that normal for things to get that big like those are???.... i mean i heard colts were fast growers but this things like a damn weed lol....
the finger too.... i dont have a good 1st pic of him but hes grown at least twice as big....

Yeah man, those types of coral can grow right out the tank. One guy had to cut his tank in half to get out a toadstool when he was moving his tank. Wow

The first is my system 4 years ago and the second and third are of the same system minus the colt coral last week. I also moved the system from a 90 allon to a 125 gallon. the large umbrella leather gets over a foot across some days

dang those sure do get big.....
yeah my colt is just way to big now im just affraid to start cutting things in my tank lol but i guess i should try.... i heard they are easy to split up.... the bubble, toadstoool, and finger arent too big but i just noticed how fast they have grown but at this pace they can get huge i would think... ill need a bigger tank just for them....

Looking good. I would suggest fraggin your colt before he gets out of control. I got lazy, and let him grow too much, he decided to split himself into 5 smaller colts and when I got back from a short business trip all 5 frags were dead as can be. May your luck be better!

thanks! i hope mine wouldnt die like that.... wonder what happened to yours for them to die hmmm.... im actually goin camping next week for five days too... that wouldnt be good if i came home and they died
